My mom wanted to have a sink in the backyard. She likes to work in her garden, so I thought I should build this sink for her. The legs are made out of oak, which makes it really sturdy. The construction is almost like a table, only there’s a hole cut out in the top for the bowl to drop in. The faucet is connected with the hose, so when you turn it on, you turn on the hose, then the faucet. This sink is really good for washing your hands, or cleaning something. She didn’t want it to be really nice, she just wanted something simple for the backyard. The top is made out of thin birch plywood, with a weather proof stain on the top, and rails. I used 2’ wood screws to screw everything together.
Thanks for reading,
AJ

Nice little sink. I am guessing the drain just goes into the garden?

I know how handy it is to have an outside sink. I made one at the last house we lived in. In this house I built a shed and put a sink int there. (you can see it on my projects page)
But I think your sink looks much better than my sink.
Good work AJ!

Yes, outdoor sinks are very handy. And yes, it drains on right into the garden.
Thanks for asking,
