This is a gift I made for a wedding.
I thought it was good to have a his and hers drawer, in the same box.
It is just a dovetailed box with a central bar and straight runners, the drawers are the first time i have done half blind dovetails. They were not as hard as I thought they might be, but they do take a while.
Black walnut case, Maple drawer fronts, Mahogany drawer sides, Zebrano handles.
Drawers bottoms lined in leather.
Oil finish.
I think the happy couple liked it.

You’ve already created their first argument, who gets the top drawer and who gets the bottom :-)
Nice looking

Beautiful wood choices + outstanding joinery = extraordinary box. Great job here.
