made another wooden teether for my son. made from hard maple, this one is a bit smaller then the last one which makes it easier for him to hold on to. the circle. wet sanded to 2000 grit and then burnished with craft paper/grocery sack. whole process took me 3-1/2 hours lol need to figure out how to make these faster

You could make them out of thicker stock then resaw them in half. Sweet elephant.

yeah thats the plan if i make more, i just used some scrap i had. the lion i made awhile back is thicker but its also heavier
