This is a new design…I had found some naturally coloured poplar at Lowe’s and just love the purples, blacks, and greens in the wood. I had also found a rare diseased pine board. So, I laminated them both to pine, used natural stain to enhance the colours of the poplar, rounded the poplar, and kept the pine unstained and square. I thought by changing the texture of each wood, would keep the woods segregated while adding to the photo. I used a poly gloss for finish coat.
