I had in mind to make a whirligig for my pastor. After some thought I came up with a minister holding a cross in one hand and a Bible in the other. I think of it as weighing L & G but probably it’s more appropriate to say he’s preaching it. The tail represents our church building as seen from the parsonage. Our pastor celebrates 30 years since his ordination this year.

What a thoughful gift. I am sure he will be thrilled. Do you think it will replace the steeple on the church? :-)

I was considering finishing this one early and entering it, but, ... um… I sometimes put stuff off.
