Amazing! One day I will attempt something like this. Nice choice of materials too!

This vase is great! Very unusual shape and nice segmenting pattern. Thanks for sharing.

Great, the design reminds me of designs that are on some of the Mata Ortiz that we saw in Santa Fe is summer. I can’t imagine how much time and patience it took.

Spectacular Tom.
That is waaay past my capabilities in turning.
I sure admire it though !

Beautiful piece Tom.
You are obviously not just another pretty marquetry box maker.
I like this a lot.

Very nicely done! How many hours did you put into this piece?

Woodworking wise, this is really cool and very nicely done.

Personally, kinda looks like a snake. I have an issue with anything that reminds me of snakes :-)

Tom, that is an extraordinary piece. Great skill and plenty of thought have gone into that vase.

This the most wonderful open segment vase I have ever seen

How many time for the different step : cutting piece? gluing piece ? turning?

Thanks for sharing

now this is a different shape for a segmentation..I really like the gentle swoop! The most per row I have ever done was 36, and that was hard enough!

Super nice and something you should be real proud of. Some day I may be able to make something like this but from what I see its a long ways off for me.
Thanks for sharing such a beautiful work of art.
