This little box holds 2(or 4) decks of playing cards. It is of Ribboned Maple and Wenge. The handle is black metal. I love this combination and wish the grain showed better in the Wenge. It really shows more than it does in the pictures. Thanks for looking!..........................;-J (The finish is sprayed laq.)

Nice combination of woods ! The continuity of the grain on the maple really paid off here.

I agree with MC. You did a good job with the Maple. Even if I can’t see the grain of the Wenge, the color contrast is well done.

Now that is a good looking box!!! Love the wood and the contrast with the Wenge! David Marcs would be proud!
