Deck patch job

This is a patch job I did on the deck of a boat named the Shearwater. She was built in 1942 and is 62 feet long.

Don’t know much about boats but it looks good to me. What sort of decking did you use ? Very nice looking boat (last pix).

Douglas fir was used for the repair job, it was about three inches thick.
