I was approach last week by someone who just lost their beloved dog. Anyway they wanted me to either wood burn or carve a portrait of the dog. I chose to carve it because carvings, in my opinion brings more life and dimension to the project. It’s carved from bass wood, the size of the item is 5”x7” and finished with 3 coats of tung oil. Thanks for looking!

A really nicely done carving. I wanted to reach over & pet him/her. :)

What an awesome job you did on this. I love the simplicity of it and it’s something that you can be very proud of.
