Not wanting to use canvas, glue or what ever for roll top desk tambour doors? I purchased the tambour door router bit set from Amana, as demonstrated by Wood Working Guru Lonnie Bird. http://www.amanatool.com/
I don’t sell or have any vested interest in Amana, I post this because the Tambour Door bit set really works! I’m not the most gracefull wood worker and definately not the sharpest wood chisel in the tool box. Fact, I would make for a better grinding wheel than any tool. But this set is FANTASTIC in my shop.

That’s just the reality in a normal shop. You have to have multiple things going so that you aren’t wasting time when the glue is drying from one to another, or other things like that. nice look on the roll tops. may have to get one of these.
