MonteCristo-This project is from Wood magazine published shortly after the US Mint began releasing honorary quarters for all of the US States. Each State has a spot to place the respective state quarter. The border around is a spot for the other US Mint quarter

Very Nice! I have the full collection that I’ve been working on since The First State quarter came out (I was in Elementary School…). They are currently stowed away in one of those cardboard maps that you could buy at the store for this same project, but the quarters don’t fit the holes quite right and it’s definitely not as beautiful to hang on the wall as yours is! Too bad, growing up in Maryland, I only ever find quarters from the Philly Mint. Great Work!
