Found all the materials right around town, even the hairpin legs, actually everything but the center top board, and the metal shelf hangers.

Center board on top is walnut, rough planed, and buffed lightly with Ruelle’s wax. For the drawer, I decided to place the drawer guides on top, which turned out to work very well. All the other wood was simply planed and sanded lightly.
