I posted a project on a carbide insert turning tool I made a few weeks back, and some asked how it worked out. I turned this project pretty much with just this tool. I used a shear scraper to deal with some of the curly grain on the tiger maple.
Anyway, I think the tool works just fine.
Thanks for looking,
Chris

Chris, This is a great turning and a handsome one too, great choice of wood and finish! I like my carbide turning tool, I have made three different ones and enjoy all of’em too!
Thanks for sharing
