This cupboard is built out of Scandinavian redwood. To add some detail I fielded all the door panels on the table saw and exposed the dovetails on the front of the drawers in a contrasting wood. The box on top hides the fuse panel. It’s the sort of piece that can be used in an office, the kitchen or the living area.

Pine is always interesting choice of wood for me.

It is readily available, not too expensive, works well and has a timeless quality about it. It seems to improve with age. I am careful to use redwood rather than whitewood (spruce) which is not as tight grained, tends to twist and does not take a finish very well. Thanks for your interest

What a super cuboard. The wood looks much like our “knotty white pine” here in n. America. Thanks for sharing
