My wife asked me to make a box for her sister which I made our of some oak scraps. At the same time I was making some pencil cups with more scraps so were giving her one of them for her desk shes a techers aid. I’m real happy how they came out I’m getting better at these boxes and loving it.

They look nice. I am looking to move on from my rabbeted boxes and make one with mitered edges and splines. These look great.

Looks good! One question, on the pencil box, where the 45 degree joints meet, do you sand to get the corners or hit it with a round over bit?
thanks
