We ran out of bookcase space and I decided I didn’t want another piece of pressed sawdust junk so…

I learned another router trick in the process too.

Nice! Are the shelves adjustable? or dado in place?

Dado in place. The shelf height is based on 1” plus the larger size of the large hardcovers I tend to read. The back is also flush, with the sides rabeted and the shelves ripped to 1/4” narrower than the sides.
