A clock from the head of a wine barrel. Another quick easy project. A friend described my obsession with using all the pieces of the barrel like an American Indian using every part of the buffalo.

What a great idea! Nice way to repurpose that wine barrel lid.

Really nice, but where did you get the wine barrel lid?

I like the corks. I just use a wood burner. I may steal that idea. Have you found a use for barrel hoops? I use some of them for supports and accent pieces on the chairs. A guy in St. Helena, CA makes sculptures from them, so that is how I get rid of them. I like to use all the parts too. I even use the scraps in my BBQ smoker.

Todd, I have a bunch of extra hoops too. I’ve been thinking of making sculptures out of them or I can just bring them to work and throw them in the steal scrap containers. I’ve only used a few of them for actual projects so far.
