I built a stomp box/cajon like the one Steve Ramsey had in his video. It was another fun project, plus I had an excuse to use my spline jig! It works acoustically, though it’s better played with a rubber mallet or hooked up to sound. I made the jingle tree using parts of a defunct tambourine I had. Aside from the rubber feet, the wood was all stuff I had laying around. The 1/2 inch plywood and the 1/8 inch came from an old drawer I found.

Great looking stomp-box! I’ve made a couple like that but without the jingle attachment.

Thanks for the comments, folks. Best thing about recycled materials is they’re usually free.
