These are a few boxes I build a few weeks ago but was waiting on the hinges. One is Cocobalo and a mistery wood top and the other is Spalted Maple three different types.
Been busy with shows so I have not been around much hope everyone has been having fun with their builds.
Thanks Dennis

Absolutely love number 1. Beautiful box. Others are really cool also.

I love the grain pattern in them – you made great choices!

That mystery wood is really nice – might even be maple itself as it can sometimes go pretty brown when it spalts.

Nice Dennis. You know, you can fix the jagged edges with a table saw! LOL.. That first top looks like the Carob I have been using. Someone told me Koa is similar.

Nice boxes Dennis. How are the shows going for you? Thinking about getting into going to the shows once I get enough projects made in advance.
Good to see you back on line

I love the way you sulpted along the natural grain instead of leaving it rectangular! That is a nice touch of artistry, Dennis/Laura! Very, very nice!
