One of the cool things about packing to move is finding forgotten things like this landing net I made many years ago…

Very nice, but looks like you’ve neglected your fishing ‘cause this net is far too pristine for having been “made many years ago. . .”. I have a weakness for finely crafted, laminated fishing nets.

thats really really nice! I’ve been fishing for many years, and have never owned a net….I need one

That is one sweet looking net. How did you work the taper into the center lamination on the bow.

Thanks for the kind comments, I have definitely neglected fishing to a degree. I made the taper with a block plane and sandpaper.
