This is my bandsaw/drill press table. I like to use this smaller bandsaw for doing smaller projects because I like to leave my bigger bandsaw with a resaw blade installed at all times. I put a vice on the work table and I made it so I can pull the bandsaw in and out of the table by using 2 hinges. I also have a table on the other end that easily folds and and unfolds for working on. I keep the table from moving by using two turning circles on each of the 2 sides with threaded rod going from the top of the bench and mounted to a 2×4 underneath the bench with 2 3/8 bolts with brass bushings on the ends of 2×4’s and a T nut mounted under the table and fixed to the 2×4 in the middle. I have non slip matting under the 2×4 and I can adjust them so they lift the table off of it’s castors and makes it extremely stable and there is no movement in the work table. I have made a couple of these for customers as well.

Great setup. I also like to use dedicated working stations. Thanks for the inspiration.
Best,

This project finally got me to quit lurking and register. I wonder if you could give a few additional shots of the stabilization method, or a link to a build. Also, can you tell me if this might work with something as heavy as a bench top drill press (mine says it weighs 62 pounds)? It seems it could be difficult to handle swinging it around like that.
