Padauk and Ovangkol finished in teak oil

A pretty simple repeat of an earlier project. Only about 12.5 hours of shop time from rough cut lumber to five finished racks.

Joinery is screws and plugs

These were popular last time and all sold in a day. Who doesn’t need a quilt rack?

Wood has great character. Nice job.

Good looking, functional quilt racks ! The browish parts of the padauk ones are the sapwood I guess ? Haven’t seen this sapwood/heartwood contrast on padauk before – quite striking !
