This box is made from Walnut for the box and top and the ribbon is purpleheart and maple. The inside is red wine flocking.

I agree with everyone else. A great job.
I know its wood…..............but I have NO idea how this technique is accomplished.

Very well done. If not a blog, how about just telling us your method of attaching the bow pieces so they don’t break off.

Thanks everyone for the great comments. I actually found this project in the “Creating Wooden Boxes on the Scroll Saw”. It is published by The Best Of Scrollsaw woodworking & Crafts Magazine. I could try and do a blog if everyone would like. The ribbons are much easier than they look.
