I built these planes for my son. The piper was built at the same time I built the previously posted Piper for my dad. Knowing that my son would play with Piper his more than my dad I used less costly and more durable materials and I was able to use it as a prototype.

The Bi-Plane originally did not have a landing gear and was played with very much… sort of broke my heart. After my son saw the Piper he said to me that his “other plane needed wheels” so another hour in the garage was required. Apparently My son has the same need for details as me. Now we can both fly around the back yard and have spent many hours doing barrel rolls and loops

Lake all the rest of the toys I have built the only fastener used is glue and patience.
