Beautiful job! I just bought that book yesterday, and I’m thinking hard about that chaise. Couple of other projects to finish first. Any advice? What bits were the trickiest?

John – trickiest part was making the wheels, but there is a plan for a circle jig online that can be accessed using a code in the Woodsmith book.
The only advice I would have is to get the rubber v-belts for the wheels first so that you can fine tune the wheel size to fit the belt tightly. Also – I sprayed everything with spar varnish and the varnish does not dry on the belts. I had to lightly sand the belts to get the varnish off. Next time I’ll masking tape off the belts to avoid getting varnish on them.
Plans were great – ended up with a solid chaise.
