Here’s project I made in my continual effort to organize my garage/shop. My goal was to get the dog food bags off the floor and out of site. The result was a cabinet with a big drawer. The drawer is made out 3/4 ply, cab grade, and rides on heavy duty glides (150lb capacity, they say). Basic cabinet, 3/4 ply put together with biscuits and pocket screws. Trimmed cabinet and doors with clear vertical grain fir. Made upper shelving unit to match. Thanks for viewing.

Great idea…we use two steel trash cans stored in one of our shops….we feed 13 dogs, so two cans were needed. Up and out of the way is a good thing.

Nice. Now you don’t have to bend down as far to scoop the food out either, as well as having some place other than the floor or steps to set the dishes while you’re filling them.
