It looks very Scandinavian with the ash and the modern, clean lines. That is a big compliment, by the way. Your execution has to be perfect to make something that simple look fabulous.

Roper, This is really a nice bowl a real eye popper the walnut adds a whole different dimension to the bowl. I like the finish you used I have never used this before and must give it a try!

It looks like the ash is all one piece. That’s a good sized chunk of ash ! Goes great with the walnut !

That is a beautiful bowl.Ii like the contrasting trim ring on that light wood. Was the ash dry when you turned it?

Great timber combo Roper they go together spot on, love the ogee line top to bottom.
This is a nice sized bowl @ 15×8, very well done
