this is a fruit crate that i finished tonight took my time and it turned out pretty good then beat it up with some tools nd chains to make it look old and i really like it and if ya wanted it can be used as a step stool i sstood on it for awhile and held up lol its 8 inches tall 12 inches wide and 16 inches long

It definitely looks sturdy! I am afraid it does not look much like a fruit box because of the thickness of the wood – this could hold rocks with little problem, not peaches! You should find a more exciting story – such as pirates used it to carry gold bars! Do you have specific plans for it? – as bvd says, this could hold just about anything. Just curious why you choose to give it that rustic look – were you matching something else?

ya i found a old fruit crate online and it was made out of 3/4 so thats what i used i know there supose to be thinner but i wanted to mach the one i was planed ya know lol and yes shes sturdy its brad nailed and glued

ow and im gessing it was used for picking fruit and stacking but not to sell the fruit out of ill try to find a another one tha they used to sell out of but all i know it was a vary fun project to do
