Another retirement scroll display.
The Scroll is 8 1/2 by 14.
The wood is more of the Indian Don’tknow I use in much of my work.
This particular wood is very fine grained, very hard, VERY brittle, heavier than oak, a reddish color, and in this case was completely cracked throughout the boards.
The left and right sides are bookmatched as well as the top and bottom.
Finish is 2 pound shellac polished with the Beall system.
If you have any idea what this wood is please post.
All I know is that it is dunnage shipped out of India.
