I am just catching up with some bangles I made in May/June. These three are Aspen Burl (SS), Blue Mahoe (SS) and Spalted Maple (CU) on Stainless Steel and Copper. The Mahoe is a real unique wood that has an awesome scent when cutting. Aspen burl is a bit of a pain, being soft and punky. I have a free 2 Mb file that describes how I make the bangles. just shoot me a PM or email at bangleguy@gmail.com for a free copy.
Thanks for looking,
Eric

Nice looking Bangles, are the metal sleeves removable or do you glue them together?

Nice work. Do you do rings, too? I’ve seen rings that look like these and I’m interested to see how they’re done/where I can get the metal parts.

Hey Vince, the metal rings are glued to the wood core and are also a slight press fit to each other. Once the bangle wood ring is glued to the metal core, it becomes much easier to turn and the final bangle is very durable.
Dan I sent you an email with the tutorial. Look for ring cores coming this fall.
Thanks
