This is the first round top table that I have built and am happy that I decided to do it (with a little help from the lumberjocks forum). The table top is 42” across and 1 5/8” thick and made of 22 pieces of birch that I milled out of 8/4 stock. It was a good learning experience and know what to do different next time.

The base is made of birch as well with a set of afromosia feet.

I did the glue up in 4 sections and then planed the sections after they were dry. There wasn’t a lot of flattening to do but what was left I did with my sander.
