This is a basket I made for a customer (I hope). It is from a series of baskets by Keith Fenton at Shelia Landry designs. I guess I like them so much because at one time I was a mechanical engineer. This type of work just thrills me. They look best with contrasting colors to show off the unique design. I still have some work to do on this one, small details that I think will make it look even better.
Thanks for looking

Make it bigger, put a piece of glass on it and you have a great looking coffee table. Can I borrow the design?

Don’t think i have seen one like that before. Really like the design. I agree it would make an awesome coffee table.

Upside-down, it makes me think of a spider…if they had 11 legs.

Add some straight length to the middle of the top and base, add in a few more “legs” and you have an oval version. Very versatile pattern.

We have a consensus for a coffee table here. Cue the ebony pegs and the coasters, I bring the beer :D
