So are these hollow and the aluminum goes inside ?

There are hollow aluminum post go inside and then directional signs are put on the wood. They went in a large farmers market inside a very old building in Toronto. They are .75”x.75” pieces on two sides and .75”x2” on the other two sides. They are all glued with splines.
