August, 2012—I built two pedestals for a glass table-top that I no longer needed. The glass is about a half-inch thick, with a beveled edge. It measures about 24×48 inches. The pedestals are about 22×8x31 inches, and made of plywood, covered in primer and white paint.
Each pedestal has a 5/8-inch dowel on top in each corner, sticking up about 1/4-inch, to raise the glass up slightly. Nylon glides are nailed to the bottoms. I donated this to our local Art Center.

Nice, Art, now just but some burnt orange in there and you’ll have some longhorn pedestals :)
