I used an old porch railing for this sawhorse/bench. I made it similar to another bench project found here on lumberjocks. It is the same height as my other sawhorse, so I can use them together. -- Scott in North Carolina

I like the look of mixed painted and raw wood. Give it a bit of a “lived in” appearance. Very handy in the shop or any workroom.
