Well, I finally built another one. My Aunt commissioned me to build my Uncle a table for his BGE. He has a large BGE so I had to modify my original design a little. I would say it is definitely easier the second time around. I used more cypress in this table than I did on the first one I built. The legs are still western red cedar. One of these days I’ll build myself something.

Hopefully your uncle will be building YOU a plate of delicious smoked meats. You did a heck of a job on the table .. ive been secretly lusting over the BGE’s.

This looks great Todd. You’ve got a good handle on this design, I hope you can get some to build for “profit” as well as fun. This past weekend I went up and saw the one I built “in action”. Zach is loving it and he prepared a delicious chicken, then even baked a cobbler! The BGE is worthy of all the attention to detail the table requires; its a fine cooker. Good work; great work on the design, and thanks again for sharing.

Todd – Would you have any interest in making a table for a fee? I have a large egg and Weber kettle that need a new resting place. My skill set is not up to the task so I’m willing to pay for a table.

Just curious what finish is considered to be best for a BGE table. Mine will be kept under a porch with only moderate direct sunlight. Made of cedar. Fantastic job by the way.

This is a great table! Do you provide plans? If so, how can I go about getting them from you?
