This is a project I finished over the weekend. The attorney that I do a lot of work for asked me to build him a standing desk that would double as some storage and display space in his office. This is what I came up with. The desk stands 42” in the front with 2” of rise to the back. The desktop itself is 52” wide by 24” deep. The entire cabinet measures 11’ wide by 9’ tall. This is by far one of my favorite projects to date. I incorporated some lighting in the project as well. The right side of the right lower base cabinet is a bar. I combined the drawer front and the door together to make one big door. I installed glass shelves in this cabinet as well as a refrigerator switch so the light comes on when he opens the bar door. Built and finished entirely in my garage. Man do I need some shop space. One of these days.

Gorgeous Todd. Wow, and in your garage! Nice design work and you really do a great job of paying attention to details. This project is sure to bring you more work. You better start designing that shop.
