This is another one of my older projects. I made these back around January I guess and held onto them until I gave them as a tiny house warming gift to my mother in law who has recently repatriated herself to NJ from Florida.
These were very simple to make. I took some scrap oak that I had and cut 4 squares, about 3 12 in. Then I set my table saw to run an 1/8 in. rabbet 1/2 inch on each edge about 1/4 inch deep. Then sanded them and applied some boiled linseed oil. The keeper was made from scrap oak about 1/2 inch thick. It’s just sized to hold the four coasters on end with the frnt side lower than the other three. I just glued it together.

A nice gift. Easy to make and it looks great. Good job.
