We bought a house last year with a beautifully lanscaped back yard but the back of it was overgrown so I had to fill it with something to keep the weeds down. Here is the new shop that was finished just before winter. It’s 30’x36’ with 10’ walls and has a natural gas radiant heater. I had someone come in to frame and roof it but I wired, insulated and finished off the inside myself. There are a total of 16 4’ fluorescent lights and they do a pretty good job of lighting up the whole shop. I was working out of a decent sized garage before but all my tools were on wheels so that a vehicle could be parked in the garage. It is so nice to have everything in it’s place and not move. Pretty much all the cabinets in there are birch ply and I banded all the edges with a 1/4” thick piece of oak. The little room in the corner is where my air compressor is.

Congrats on the new shop Jese.
It is very similar to mine. The size, birch ply cabinets, vertical plywood storage …..all pretty familiar. I have a finishing room in the corner. Is that what your corner room is? Maybe the big difference is that my dust collection is under the floor.
I feel well qualified to say (from experience) that you are going to love working there.
