Cherry Night stands

These are the two night stands I made to match the bed(see my Cherry bed project). The sliding doors match the style of the headboard. See the arch at the top. It’s the same radius as the headboard arch. My wife gets credit for that suggestion. My favorite part is she shelf for our shoes to keep them off the floor (It’s the little things). We have not decided on hardware yet. It will likely be a mat black recessed cup mounted in the lower corners of the doors. I started to use strips of uhmw for the doors to slide on, but the white stood out too much. Instead I used Walnut strips finished and waxed. They seem to slide okay. I tried to keep the doors thin and light.
