Made these two trains from the scrap box. Some of the known woods are Oak, Ash, 2 different pines and the rest are unknown pieces that have come from pallets. Included a picture of all the parts layed out

you dont half get about derek the trains turned out great somebodys going to get hours of enjoyment out of those bob

This is great! I had a small wooden train set very similar to this when I was a kid, and I loved it! You have sparked my memory…great job!

Yes I get about a bit Bob

Larry the chassis I borrowed from another train but all the rest is my own design.

Our Grandson would love one of those. I am making him several toys right now…might have to figure out a train as well…thanks for sharing
