These two segmented plywood with red gum spacers bowls are identical except for the bases and have been finished with coats of Gloss Polyurethane.
Pictures 1 and 2 are of the bowl I have recessed to make it look like weave but hard to see in the photos.
Pictures 3 and 4 are of the bowl un- tampered with.
One bowl is a gift for the cabinet maker who supplies me with high grade plywood offcuts.

Very nice. Plywood really pops in a segmented turning. I’ve been meaning to try a segmented piece with plywood but haven’t gotten around to it yet. Great Work.
