Beautiful work. Can I ask what your substrate is?

Thank you all for the nice comments. Yes, it was my own design. I came up with the final shape after making a full scale model with pink insulation foam. Kenns, the substrate is 1 1/8” mdf. I wanted something I could use with a single ply veneer and would stay flat and stable over time. I did put a 1/8”x1/8” solid wood strip on the top outside edge for a small amount of protection. It turned out to be a good idea because it has gotten a few very little dings there.
