Nice job. I like Russian Olive, it just smells bad.

Do you have any problems wi th the wood ? I react with runny nose big time when
working the stuff, dust mask, face shield everything.
(while sanding on my lathe)

Thank you very much. Monte your are right it can smell very bad sometimes. Glen I have noticed the runny nose thing happens with dried Russian Olive more then green but its not just you it happens to me also.

Thought it might have been just me, but I know Olive wood is one of those on the list of “activators”
that can spark alergies and reactions. never tried green just some dried stuff from the prunings of my backyard shade tree.
(at least now it’s big enough I dont have to worry about kids and pets and such getting stabbed with the spikes..nasty stuff!)
