This was a special request from my wife’s family. Mom passed away on August 8Th. My wife and her brothers & sisters bestowed upon me the honor of making their mothers final resting place (Urn). The challenge was I only had one day to complete it in, because the funeral home needed it on Friday to be ready for the services today the 11Th. This was a great honor for me to do for them. I spent 16 hours on it from start to finish. The main case is oak, with various hard wood accents. The top, the part with the picture, is canary wood with epoxy over the picture. I used rare earth magnets at each corner to secure the lid. It measures about 12”x 8”x8”. I also inlaid a brass cross in the corner. Everyone liked it real well & I feel proud to have done this for the family. This was my most important project that I have ever done as well as an honor they chose me for something so important. Rest in peace mom we love & miss you already. Thank you for looking.
Mark~

Wow, magnificent job. Especially considering the time frame and the overwhelming mood of the situation. Impressive.

You’ve done a wonderful job Mark.
To design and create this piece with all its details in such a short time frame is quite a feat.
My condolences to you, your wife and your family.

Mark, I’m so sorry for your loss. You did a beautiful job on very short notice and I’ll bet you thought about her the entire 16 hours you were building it.

Beautiful job, Mark.
I know your mom was looking down upon you while you made this work of art.
