My wife purchased a coffee table and end table a few years ago but, after changing the decor of our room with new furniture and paint the table tops no longer matched. The tops that were original to the table were not ones that I could sand down and refinish but we both loved the metal legs. So I decided to make new table tops to fit the decor of our room. It is made with tongue and grove joinery which was my first time attempting this type of joinery. I would say it turned out pretty good. I used a tongue and grove bit from rockler on my router table which worked great and made the project pretty easy. This was a fun project that turned out great and best of all it made my wife really happy.

Nice looking table tops. They do go with the furniture quite well.

Awesome! I love when things can be reworked into a whole new look. It saves money and keeps down on waste. You did agreat job and they look good in your room!
