Here is a toy tractor I made using plans from Kurtis Foote’s book “How to Make Wooden Farm Toys: Scroll Saw Patterns and Plans.” This is the first toy I have attempted from the book and will be reviewing later on when I have had the chance to try a couple more.
This was my first toy build and went together quite a bit faster than I expected it would. I’m looking forward to making more in the future!!
It was made from oak and aspen and finished with shellac.

G’Day Brian, What a top design, simple & looks strong ready for hours of play…
And yes you are correct, toy making is an addictive past time especially when you see the smile from ear to ear of the child’s face who received the handmade creation…..
Cheers, crowie
