Here is a rocking duck I recently finished for my nephew’s first birthday. The plans are from Meisel Hardware Specialties and it was made using 3 pine 1” x 12” x 8’ boards. SWMBO painted it and we finished it with Polycrylic.
This was the first time making anything like this and it was a blast!

What a stroke of luck. This morning my wife asked me to make a rocking chair for our 1 year old granddaughter. Thanks for being an inspiration.
