Here is a picture I recently took of a Manzanita Burl bangle with a crushed turquoise inlay. My 12 year old daughter is wearing the bangle… Man! She is growing up :( I made this bangle about two months ago, but am just getting it posted.
I also have attached a picture of an Aspen Burl bangle that I made around the same time. Again, my daughter is the model.
She is daddy’s helper, but I haven’t quite convinced her to sweep up the shop for me :) I will keep working that angle. haha
Thanks for looking!
Eric

Those bangles are intriguing.
I imagine that the inner core is spun first and then inserted into the wooden turning and then spun again to complete the edge. Am I completly wrong, or is there some other magical way to do this?

Your contrasts of each medium really complement each other remarkably well and thats all of your projects. Well done!!!!!!!!!!!! Look forward to more of your art!
