Are the stripes inlay or built up blocks? Puts me in mind of some of the Japanese stuff where the presentation container is as important as the gift. Very elegant.

Lined the boxes with some material the wife gave me and the stripes are inlay. Thanks for the comments.

Look nice. now if they are like my kids, getting them to put their stuff away is the challenge.
